Honey HuntingNepal is a Himalayan country, wedged between the giants of India and Tibet. The country is a potpourri of ethnic groups, customs and traditions. From the humid and tropical southern Terai lowlands to the frozen alpine packages of the Himalayas in the north, we find different colorful cultures & people co-existing in harmony for centuries.

The country also offers an astonishing diversity of sightseeing attractions and adventure opportunities found nowhere else on earth! A visitor can join in the numerous annual festivals that are celebrated throughout the year in traditional style highlighting enduring customs and beliefs.

Nepal is a land where the arts and culture are as well-preserved as the valleys and forests, temples enriched with wood carving and bronzes, millennium- old statues standing a long the way side, songs and dances unchanged for centuries and entire cities preserved in their medieval splendor.

In addition to enjoying numerous activities of choice in Nepal, it is also a significant transit point for traveling to Tibet (China) Bhutan, Darjeeling and Sikkim (India).

Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1: Drive from Kathmandu to Khudi which takes 7 hours. You drive along the Prithvi highway across beautiful villages, local people, and landscapes. All the way you drive along the river valley. The tour to Buddhist Monasteries and Khudi Bazaar will bring you a lot of opportunities to study more about the local culture.

Day 2: Today you trek for six to seven hours for a Honey Hunting site. On the way, you view many natural scenes. You will receive a hearty welcome by villagers and can enjoy Gurung cultural dances after dinner.

Day 3: The day you enjoy a few hours walk for a honey hunting site. Honey hunters pray before they start. You can also view the heart thrilling honey hunting program at Cliff. After you enjoy the honey hunting program, return back to base camp village. In the evening, you will spend a few moments enjoying cultural dances of mother union.

Day 4: Trek to Khudi which takes six to seven hours. You can enjoy swimming at the Natural swimming pool. In the evening, you can enjoy a nice walk on the bank of the Marshyangdi River and Khudi stream.

Day 5: Drive from Khudi to Kathmandu by bus takes 7 hours
